Case study · Webflow Website Development

The Kite Rises

From exploring services to starting a conversation.

Webflow website development for a Portland-based digital marketing and technology agency.

I developed The Kite Rises website to bring together the agency’s services, approach, and contact experience. The focus was on helping visitors understand what the agency offers and take the next step with useful project details.

Context
In-house agency website, developed during my role as the agency’s sole developer.

The challenge

Make a broad service offering easy to understand.

The agency offered several services, including social media management, paid advertising, SEO, and web development.

The website needed to introduce those services clearly, give visitors enough detail to assess their needs, and provide a straightforward route to contacting the team.

The work

What I built and why it mattered

  1. A homepage that introduces the agency and the next step.

The homepage pairs a direct agency introduction with service sections and prominent contact prompts.

Visitors can understand who the agency serves, explore its capabilities, and find the “Book a call” action without searching through the website.

  2. Service pages that explain what clients can expect.

I built service layouts that combine an overview, individual offerings, and a workflow section.

The social media page, for example, presents social media management, influencer marketing, and paid ads as distinct services. The workflow then explains the agency’s approach, from discovery and strategy through execution and ongoing improvements.

This structure gives prospective clients more context before they start a conversation.

  3. An enquiry form that starts with useful details.

The contact section brings service selection, budget, contact information, and a project message into one form.

These fields are intended to help visitors describe what they need and give the agency useful context for its first response.

The accompanying message, “Let’s brainstorm together,” keeps the invitation approachable.

Working within the agency

Part of the team behind the website.

This project was part of my wider role as the sole developer supporting The Kite Rises.

I collaborated with the team through Slack and email, handling website builds, updates, troubleshooting, and ongoing support across its client projects.

That experience meant working within an agency’s delivery process, responding to feedback, and carrying development work through to completion.

The result

A complete Webflow website connecting services with enquiries.

The finished website brought the agency introduction, service information, workflow, and enquiry form into one consistent experience.

It gave prospective clients a place to explore the agency’s offering and share their requirements, while giving the team a website it could use in its sales conversations.
